Cook Brummer, the 'Dutch Schindler' saved tens of lives during the second world war. The flamboyant businessman, who led the perfume factory Polak and Schwarz, helped employees, jewish and non-jewish, survive the war.

Today, two years after the broadcast of this documentary, Brummer became 'Righteous Among the Nations', the greatest honour by the State of Israel to describe non-Jews who risked their lives during the Holocaust to save Jews from extermination by the Nazis.
